Anyone up for a friendly walk down memory lane? I am!
One of the happiest moments of my life was when we adopted our first son, Caden. He was the most expressionate, most loving child I had ever met. These photos were taken shortly after his adoption was official. They aren’t the best shots but they catch the essence of love and adoration I felt for this child who until that very moment was very lost. So sweet.
I believe that everyone needs a place to share their story. A place to look back on the happy moments and life learned lessons. A place that reveals one’s fragile humanity because of the honesty, reflection and acknowledgement of faults shared. But mostly, a place that resembles hope because of the growth that transpires within one’s soul when they share those moments with others. For me, I have found comfort in sharing my story here and I hope that this place can be an encouragement to you as well.
